Official Rules



NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.



Sweepstakes may only be entered in or from the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, excluding Rhode Island, Alaska, and Hawaii (the "Territory"). The Sweepstakes is governed by these Official Rules.



BY PARTICIPATING, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT. WITHOUT LIMITATION, THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES INDEMNITIES TO THE SPONSOR FROM YOU AND A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES. THESE RULES CONTAIN ARBITRATION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROVISIONS THAT AFFECT THE WAY IN WHICH ANY CLAIM OR DISPUTE BETWEEN YOU AND THE SPONSOR WILL BE RESOLVED. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR EXCLUDED.



1. PROMOTION PERIOD. The uAvionix AirVenture 2025 Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") starts at 8:00 AM CST on November 22, 2024 and ends at 11:59 PM CST on December 24, 2024 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period and meet other requirements in these Official Rules to be eligible to win a prize. Drawing will be held on December 27, 2024. Winner will be announced after the potential winner is verified and confirmed.



2. WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER/TO WIN. Participation is open only to natural persons who are legal residents of the Territory and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Any person who on or after the beginning of this Sweepstakes was or is (a) a director, officer, employee, agent, or independent contractor of Sponsor; (b) a director, officer, employee, agent, or independent contractor of any entity engaged to assist with the creation, administration, advertising, or management of the Sweepstakes; (c) an employee or contractor of Race 90 Flight Team; or (d) an immediate family member (defined as spouse, IRS-dependent, or biological, foster, in-law, adoptive, or step-mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, or son) of, or who resides in the same household as, any person in any of the preceding categories are NOT eligible to participate.



3. HOW TO ENTER. To enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period, you must complete one of the following methods:



Method 1: User Content Entry

Post a creative photo or reel showing how you use your uAvionix product and include the hashtag #uAvionixAirVenture25. Your social media profile must be public for entry verification.

User Content Entry is subject to validation and approval by Sponsor. Sponsor at its sole discretion may disallow any entry.



Method 2: Purchase Entry

Purchase any eligible uAvionix product (skySensor, skyBeacon, tailBeacon, tailBeaconX, AV-30

AV-20-S, AV-Link, AV-APA, or AV-HSI) during the Sweepstakes Period using code "OSH25Sweeps" at checkout on uavionix.com.

OR

Purchase any eligible product (skySensor, skyBeacon, tailBeacon, tailBeaconX, AV-30

AV-20-S, AV-Link, AV-APA, or AV-HSI) from a verified reseller and submit proof of purchase to: https://uavionix.com/airventuresweeps2025-pop/



Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE):

To enter without purchase, social media posting, or photo or video content submittal on uAvionix.com, hand-print your name, address, phone number, email address, and date of birth on a 3"x5" card and mail it to: uAvionix AirVenture 2025 Giveaway, 880 Harrison St. Suite 185, Leesburg, VA 20175. Must include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Limit one entry per outer envelope.



4. PRIZE PACKAGE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV"). The Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for two (2) to EAA AirVenture 2025 consisting of: round-trip economy airfare from a major airport nearest winner's residence to Appleton International Airport (ATW); seven (7) nights' accommodation in the Oshkosh area (hotel or rental property); two (2) weekly passes to EAA AirVenture 2025; ground transportation between airport/accommodations/event; and two (2) rides with Race 90 Flight Team. Total Approximate Retail Value of Grand Prize: $4,998.

Prize Conditions: Travel must be completed during EAA AirVenture 2025 event dates. Flights are subject to availability and blackout dates. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary and possess valid government-issued ID for travel. Winner must provide a valid credit card for hotel incidentals. Winner and guest must sign liability waivers for Race 90 Flight Team experience. Weather and other conditions may affect flight experience availability. No prize substitution except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered. Winner is responsible for all taxes, fees, and any costs not explicitly stated in the prize package, including but not limited to food, beverages, souvenirs, additional travel expenses, training, or any other personal expenditures. Winner is also responsible for obtaining any desired travel insurance.

Event and Travel Cancellations: Sponsor (uAvionix Corporation) is not responsible for and winner assumes all risk for: cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling of EAA AirVenture 2025; flight cancellations, delays, or schedule changes; hotel/accommodation cancellations or changes; Race 90 Flight Team experience cancellations or changes; or any other event or travel disruptions beyond Sponsor's reasonable control.

Force Majeure: Sponsor shall not be liable or responsible for failure to fulfill the prize package or any component thereof due to: weather conditions, acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, civil disturbances, labor disputes or strikes, war, fire, epidemics/pandemics, government orders or restrictions, or any other force majeure events. In the event of any such cancellation or disruption, no cash equivalent or alternative prize will be provided. Sponsor's obligation to award the prize package may be terminated, and Sponsor reserves the right to modify, terminate, or suspend the Sweepstakes.





5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION. Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designated representatives on December 27, 2024. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified via email, direct message, or phone within five (5) business days following the drawing. Winner must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification and provide all requested information. If winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 72 hours from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.



6. REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION. Potential winner must complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, Publicity Release (except where prohibited), IRS W-9 form, and Race 90 Flight Team liability waivers. Travel companion must also complete required releases. All documents must be returned within five (5) days of notification or prize will be forfeited.



7. RELEASE. By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless uAvionix Corporation, Race 90 Flight Team, EAA, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies, officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to: personal injury, death, damage to or loss of property, travel delays or cancellations, weather-related issues, claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.



8. PUBLICITY. Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's and its agents' use of winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, social media posts including #uAvionixAirVenture25, submitted user content, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.



9. CONTENT RIGHTS AND LICENSE. By entering with #uAvionixAirVenture25 or submitting any photos, videos, or content ("User Content"), entrant grants uAvionix Corporation and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, display, distribute, repurpose the User Content across all media channels, use for marketing, advertising, promotional purposes, create derivative works, and grant and authorize sublicenses to the User Content. Entrant represents and warrants ownership of content, no infringement of third-party rights, obtained all necessary permissions, and authority to grant these rights.



10. GENERAL CONDITIONS. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes if any fraud, technical failures, human error or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules.



11. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. The Released Parties are not responsible for: lost, late, or misdirected entries; technical failures of any kind; unauthorized human intervention; technical or human error; failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions; weather conditions affecting Race 90 Flight Team experience; flight cancellations or changes; any travel-related delays or cancellations; lost or stolen tickets or travel documents.



12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION. All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Montana. Any disputes regarding this Sweepstakes shall be resolved in the federal or state courts located in Montana.



13. ARBITRATION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION. Any claim, controversy, or dispute arising out of or related to the Sweepstakes shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in Montana. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator under AAA Rules. No class arbitrations or consolidated proceedings are permitted. This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. Any award shall be controlled by these Official Rules. Each party shall bear its own costs.

This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with EAA, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or any social media platform. You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to any social media platform.
