Here’s how to get started.
The uAvionix Qualified Installer (Qi) Program has been updated and we are excited to have you join a growing community of installers around the globe. The new Qi program aims to raise the bar on installations and customer experience across the aviation community. For you, the installer, the updated Qi program delivers increased benefits such as discounts on products and access to exclusive training materials. Follow the steps below to begin your uAvionix Qualified Installer Program Journey.
Step 1
Visit Social Flight to access the latest FAA Approved Training on uAvionix’s products for General Aviation. If you haven’t created an account with Social Flight, you will be asked to register. Detailed instructions are available here. Social Flight works with the FAA to ensure our training is up to standards and will issue you a certificate at the end of your training. And, you will get access to hundreds of videos on topics ranging from installations to maintenance and more!
After you have completed each uAvionix video training for the products you intend to install, be sure to download your Training Certificate – you need them in the next step. Social Flight keeps a copy of your Training Certificate, so you can always get back to it if needed.
Step 2
Return here to the “Become a Qi” page on uAvionix.com to complete your registration. Through this process you will provide information relevant to your work as a Qualified Installer, upload your Training Certificates and tax resale certificate, and agree to the Qualified Reseller Terms and Conditions.
- If you are new to uAvionix and have not registered as a Customer or Qualified Installer before, please complete the New Qi Registration Form here. You will need your Training Certificate(s) from Social Flight ready for upload from you device and your tax resale certificate (optional).
- If you are a current Customer of uAvionix and have an account on our system – but are NOT a Qualified Installer, please complete the account conversion form here. You will need your Training Certificate(s) from Social Flight ready for upload from you device and your tax resale certificate (optional).
- If you are a current Qualified Installer with uAvionix, you have until 24 December 2024 to complete the required training at Social Flight, upload your Training Certificates and start 2025 at the Preferred Installer level. Please login here to upload your certificates and access program resources. If you do not wish to become a preferred installer, please complete the training available through our Study Guide. To remain a Basic Installer, you must complete and record a minimum of three (3) installations per year. Login in now to upload a record of your installations.
