Bigfork, MT – 24th February, 2026 – uAvionix, a leader in avionics solutions for General Aviation, today announced the release of AV-30 software version 3.2.1 for the AV-30-C (certified), bringing powerful ForeFlight® integration and advanced autopilot coupling to certified aircraft for the first time.

Previously introduced to the experimental aircraft community, this highly anticipated update now unlocks these capabilities for a much broader segment of the general aviation fleet—allowing certified aircraft owners to experience a new level of connectivity, capability, and reduced pilot workload.

This groundbreaking release allows pilots to plan a route in ForeFlight®, while away from the plane, then seamlessly synchronize the AV-30 once in the cockpit, and have their autopilot follow the flight plan—creating a seamless ForeFlight-to-panel experience.

Building on prior enhancements such as wind speed and direction display, flight plan visualization, and EchoESX transponder control, version 3.2.1 connects the AV-30-C directly with ForeFlight.

With this new capability, certified aircraft pilots can now:

  • Use ForeFlight as a navigation source for the AV-30 – unlocking a clean and intuitive interface for flight planning and navigation. (Use your iPad’s internal GPS or an ADS-B receiver like Sentry or skySensor as the position source.)
  • Update waypoints and routes directly from ForeFlight to the AV-30, enabling the autopilot to follow a ForeFlight-defined flight plan with smooth GPS steering and advanced waypoint anticipation.
  • Update the active flight plan mid-flight from ForeFlight—adding waypoints or making route changes to avoid weather or comply with ATC instructions, by simply typing or dragging your route line on the EFB, with updates instantly reflected on the AV-30.
  • Leverage enhanced traffic display with heading bug and symbology improvements for a clearer and safer in-flight picture.

“This release represents a major milestone for the certified AV-30 community,” said John Chargo, Engineer at uAvionix. “Pilots can now build a route in ForeFlight and see it instantly appear on the AV-30, ready for the autopilot to follow. Bringing this capability to certified aircraft dramatically expands access to advanced cockpit integration and continues our mission to make modern avionics more accessible.”

To enable ForeFlight integration, an AV-Link Wi-Fi bridge is required to seamlessly synchronize and update flight plans. For autopilot coupling, the Advanced Autopilot Unlock is required.

With version 3.2.1 now available for the AV-30-C, uAvionix and ForeFlight continue to strengthen their partnership and reaffirm their shared commitment to advancing the flying experience for the entire aviation community.

The AV-30 continues its evolution as one of the most flexible and forward-thinking EFIS solutions available—delivering safety, capability, and accessibility to a significantly larger portion of the general aviation market.
