The echoALT is a compact, small-form-factor altitude encoder engineered for seamless in-line integration with the echoUAT.
True Plug-and-Play Installation:
Simply unplug the echoUAT harness and connect the echoALT. Featuring dedicated male/female connectors so it can only be installed one way—eliminating the need for wire splicing, crimping, or complex tools. The updated echoUAT software automatically processes the encoder data for seamless altitude data fusion.
Awareness Notice:
As of April 2024, the echoALT is required for the vast majority of echoUAT installations. Exceptions apply only to specific transponder/echoUAT pairings certified under TSO-C154c performance guidelines (see manual for details).
