Bigfork, Montana –– Today, uAvionix Corporation announced that the skySensor wingtip mounted ADS-B receiver has officially been added to the ForeFlight Connect program.
ForeFlight Connect enables portable and installed avionics to connect with the ForeFlight Mobile app to deliver capabilities such as ADS-B weather and traffic and GPS position. Official Connect products ensure full compatibility with ForeFlight Mobile.
Launched in July 2018, skySensor continues to bring experimental aircraft owners an innovative ADS-B receiver that replaces the existing starboard wingtip green position light with a high-efficiency LED – also adding ADS-B IN functionality, a static pressure sensor, and an integrated SBAS GPS delivered over WiFi to the aircraft.
skySensor joins uAvionix’s lineup with Sentry, Sentry Mini, Scout, SkyEcho, and echoUAT as successful ForeFlight Connect products. Pilots using skySensor with ForeFlight Mobile receive real-time traffic, free ADS-B weather, GPS, and pressure altitude within the app.
